We daily use touch screen smart phones and other devices that perform specific tasks. But now Fujitsu Developers has developed a technology that turns the paper into a touch screen.  The developers said that the system used in this technology does not contain any special hardware. It just consists of device just like a webcam and a commercial projector. Its capabilities are achieved by image processing technology.

Besides flat surfaces, the technology also works on curved or uneven ones, so one can easily manipulate data from a book. Though the technology is still at the "demonstration level," researchers at Fujitsu plan to develop a commercial version of the system by fiscal 2014.
